Bulky for barefoot
My daughter gets very frustrated with the puffy tongue that doesn’t stay tucked in—she says it feels uncomfortable and it’s delayed out leaving the house a few times! Otherwise I want to like the shoe.

Does not hold up in use
The first pair of these shoes broke in less than a month. The top loop of the lace broke. We quickly got a new pair when I complained about it. Now it looks like this pair won't last either, as the loop is almost broken after three weeks of use. Otherwise, the shoes fit the child's narrow foot well. It's nice that the child can tighten the shoes by themselves.

Loops torn out even with us
I have always had good experiences with Reima shoes so far. Unfortunately, however, like in some other reviews, we have had issues with the lacing loops. My son has had the shoe for 2 months now, wearing it daily at school and during leisure time. On one shoe, the loops have torn out, but not on the other shoe. I hope I can get them repaired by a cobbler. Otherwise, the shoe is great; for us, it ran rather one size too large.

Broken after 1 month
Unfortunately these did not work for us. I bought two pairs for my two kids. They were too narrow for my wide footed kid so we returned those. They worked for my narrow footed kid so we kept those but now the string that holds the laces on is broken after only one month of wear and the shoes are totally unusable. Super bummed! Unfortunately will not be buying again and can not recommend.

They would be nice shoes if they were moisture-resistant. But the loops that hold the laces are very flimsy; one of our loops broke after just one month of use, and it's difficult to repair it yourself.

Very satisfied
I bought shoes for myself, according to Reima's shoe size calculator my size should have been 36, but my toes were right at the line and the shoes felt small. It's funny that the calculator didn't leave any (growth) room for the size suggestion. I switched to a larger size and at first they pinched my instep, but it quickly gave way. So if the shoe feels a bit tight at that point, I wouldn't give up right away because it will loosen! Now the shoes are REALLY comfortable on my feet. I hope we continue to get minimalist pj shoes in the same color!!! I will definitely buy again if the need arises. However, I'm a bit nervous about what other reviewers said, that the shoelaces tear and cannot actually be repaired. Let's hope these don't break right away.

Poor quality
Unfortunately the poor quality reviews are true, the shoes are coming apart after 3 months of occasional use, my daughter rotates between other 2 pairs of shoes from another brand, only these ones are breaking. I tried the costumer "support" and they claimed is normal wear and tear, they offered a "courtesy $10 dollar credit" on my next order, the shoes were $60. . . Even with the credit I don't plan to spend $50 in kids shoes that break after a couple months.

Great shoes, but the laces' loops break during use.
The 4-year-old and 6-year-old love these and they are convenient as they also withstand moisture. However, the lacing loops for the top of the shoes broke after just a short period of use, and this happened with both of my children's shoes. I would expect shoes in this price range to last longer. It's really a shame because otherwise, I would have definitely bought these again!

Loop broke with only 4 months of wear
My kid loves his shoes! I thought we were going to really get good quality use out of these shoes, but the loop has broken for his "laces" and there's not much that could be done because of the design of it. It's convenient that there's no laces until it breaks unfortunately

Shoes don't last due to poor lace design.
DO NOT PURCHASE unless you want to pay top dollar for a product that doesn't last. The company seems to have done a good job making a shoe and sole that are durable for kids, but that effort is useless given that they neglected to consider the lace design. Both of the no-tie laces failed- irritating but not the end of the world, just replaced with other laces. Unfortunately, next the loops that hold the laces failed in multiple places making the shoes completely unwearable as there is now no way to keep the shoe on the foot. So frustrating and a major design flaw.

Fabulous shoes, my kids all love them
As usual these particular trainers run wide which is suitable for wide footed kids, but may be leaving too much of wiggle space for narrow footed kids. I have both and both love these. No laces and they sit quite snug even on my narrow footed one. These shoes are the go to for my kids.

Unfortunately did not work for my kiddo
My son was SO excited to receive these, and we were excited to find some great, wide toe-box shoes for him. Unfortunately, even with the expandable top, his instep is just too high and these were way too small (not in length, but in "height" if you will).

Fantastic shoe that takes a beating
This is now our second time round buying these shoes, after outgrowing the first. My kids are incredibly hard on shoes and generally they are utterly destroyed before they are outgrown. These have gone the distance. I even bought myself a pair. Can’t recommend enough, especially if you are wanting barefoot shoes.

My kid loves these
I had been searching for a waterproof kids shoe, and finally seem to have found one that my kid loves. He's not a huge fan of wearing boots, but we live in Seattle, so the waterproof sneaker is perfect for him. I love that they are flexible and have a more natural foot shape. My son (age 6) says that they make him extra fast.

Poor quality - laces break easily
Echoing other comments - the laces on these break too easily and the threads holding the laces break too easily too. This has happened on the shoes for both of my daughters after only 2 months of wear. I expect better quality for a $90 pair of shoes. I love that they are barefoot, and my kids love the shoes but the quality is just not there for the price with these shoes. Customer service said this is wear and tear and offered me $25, but with all of the reviews on this issue, it’s clearly a defect Reima needs to fix. I agree with others that these shoes aren’t worth the price until the issue is fixed. We have other Reima boots and sandals and the quality is better.
