A Favorite
I’ve purchased this boot for my oldest son twice now at different ages. It’s his favorite and they hold up so well. He says they are comfortable and warm. He’s worn them to school, sledding, and skiing, they’re easy for him to take on and off. Great quality shoe.

Best boot we've ever owned !
These boots are amazing. Not very heavy like traditional snow boots making them more wearable. Super warm and waterproof. Extremely well made. I got a black pair for my son, and the magenta pair for my daughter. Its a win!

How can you make a winter shoe that is so tight?
... we bought the shoe in the store and it felt quite good. Hardly has my son worn the shoe for a day when the area behind the zipper presses against his leg. EXCUSE ME? Have you even tested the shoe in winter?! Absolutely disappointed that one cannot even test this product for more than an hour on a child's foot. Every ski and snowshoe from Reima manages these basics... ABSOLUTELY not a buying recommendation.

Frostbitten Toes
Otherwise, the shoes seem good and durable, but normally a child who is usually very warm is complaining that his feet are freezing at just -1 degree, even though the size is loose enough and the child is active. I tried the shoe inside with my hand half an hour after being outside, and both the shoe and the toes were ice cold. I will have to get another pair of warmer shoes in place of these; they are mostly suitable as mid-season shoes and for that use the shaft is quite high and stiff.

Zipper is really tough to close
I think those shoes would have been better without a zipper. My child nor his teacher can close the zipper, which leaves him walking around with an open zipper all day. Also, some of the read topstitches are coming apart and we had the shoe for a week only. I think Reima makes great products, but this one doesn’t convince me.
