    Great quality, but snug to get on

    These boots feel well-made and look great. I’m not sure if they would be warm enough for our cold winters in Canada, but I was willing to try. My daughter had a difficult time, pulling them onto her feet. I figured I would rather play it safe and not deal with frustrations in the winter putting on boots. I returned them for this reason. I would like to recommend black instead of white on the boot, as I feel, this could get stained easily. Perhaps with a few modifications, I would re-order.

    Warmer winter shoe

    I bought size 38 for myself (adult person). The shoes are quite okay. The sole is a bit stiff. Perfect for standing around in the snow. Not so suitable for longer walks, as the lacing cannot be tightened optimally. The foot slides and tends to create pressure points.

    New favorite winter boot

    Recently got these as my kid outgrew his size three winter boots mid-winter and needed a replacement suitable for nature based school (outside in well below freezing for multiple hours a day). Read about the warning from some reviews about a tight fit/ hard to put on and also ordered another boot to pick the one that fits better just in case. Kid tried on the Megapito boots and immediately fell in love. Says so easy to put on, comfortable, warm outside at school, keeps the snow out, and loves the flexible shaft. We’ll buy it again in another size next year (as long as kid needs a size that’s available).

    Warm but not what I expected.

    It's warm outside. But it's really a challenge to get the feet into these. Extremely thin in the calf and above the ankle. My boy gets frustrated every time these are to be put on. With winter clothes, wool socks, and thermal underwear, this is a purchase I will never make again. However, they are waterproof and warm. You can do better than Reima here.

    Almost good product & poor service

    Product itself looks well sewn, has good colour and interesting design, but it’s way too narrow in the calf area. Kid is exhausted while trying to put boots on and same exhaustion appears when boots need to be worn off. Plus, even though I took measures, size was smaller and if kid puts thicker socks, boots aren’t wearable at all. Delivery service was super long. From Poland to Latvia it took 15 days. And since size didn’t fit, I’ve sent boots back and paid extra 15€ for that. Not satisfied at all with whole process.

    Warm but tight!

    The shoes seem to keep the child warm on their feet, no other shoes have kept the warmth. BUT the shoes are terribly tight to put on, our boy is thin with slim calves and yet it’s a struggle to get his foot in, disappointing given how expensive they are. The daycare thinks so too, and these take a long time to put on but we need them to keep warm. The loops on the side do not help to get the shoe on, they are quite high and soft on the calf which makes it tricky to get the foot properly in. If you have a child with somewhat chubby calves, they probably won’t stand a chance of getting their foot in these!

    Too narrow to hold

    The boots' shafts are so narrow that you can't get them on your feet by any means. You can only wear very thin socks; no thicker ones will fit through the boot shaft. The pant legs ride up so much that half of the calf is exposed. How can the structure of these boots be so poorly designed? If by some means, you can force the shoes on with gritted teeth, then they are okay; you can walk in them.
